My passion is helping other business owners grow their businesses. How do I do that? It’s quite simple really. I do the tasks and projects that anyone can do so you can focus on the tasks and projects that only YOU can do. I have almost 10 years of administrative assistant experience in the corporate world where I worked mainly for Vice Presidents. I transitioned over to the virtual side of things about a year ago and I have to say that I find it much more fulfilling because I get to work one-on-one with you to grow your business. I have implemented new systems and processes, created digital filing and organization where none existed, and increased the overall efficiency of my departments. There are ways to improve your processes so you can grow your business faster and more efficiently. The first way to do this is to let me help. 

I am constantly growing myself through research and courses and am always up for a new challenge. I love to learn new technology and new industries and I believe that by working with a variety of clients, that shows me how to help them in a greater capacity.

Right about now you’re wondering why you should trust me with proofreading the writing that you have worked so hard on. So, let me tell you a little about myself.

I have worked in a variety of roles within a variety of industries. Each of my roles required attention to detail, communication, and ultimately every word and punctuation mattered. I have honed my craft through experience, practice, and the Proofread Anywhere course.

The best proofreaders are those who don’t pretend to know everything and are willing to invest in resources. I have access to multiple style reference guides including Chicago Manual of Style, APA, and MLA. I am also more than happy to go by your personal style guide if you have one.

Why become a proofreader?

I have always had a natural knack for grammar. Growing up I was often called a grammar nerd by friends and family. Once I entered the corporate world, coworkers often trusted me to be the last eyes on their projects or presentations. I regularly notice errors in books I read, advertisements I see, and products I purchase. Becoming a proofreader was a natural choice.
